FUN AT THE HARBOR
4. Tuesdays in July there will be fun at the harbor in Strandby. Where the harbor is transformed into a small marketplace, with music, stalls and vendors. Life-boats participate here, where we hold open boating in 1-3 boats. At the same time we offer a small harbor cruise with one of the boats. It is a festive day, and several have participated in the harbor cruise.

WORKING DAYS - INFORMATION MEETING - LAUNCHING
The sun was shining over Strandby as a fantastic little volunteer team helped get the boats ready for summer. It was a few active days with many tasks, all organized by Niels. Spirits were high, and the catering was excellent.
On Thursday evening, an information meeting was held at the Harbourfront Community House for all those interested – and what a great turnout: 79 guests came to hear about Life-boats. Early Friday morning, another group gathered at the harbour to help get the beautiful ladies into the water.

LAUNCH OF THE LIFE-BOATS IN THEIR NEW HOME HARBOUR, STRANDBY
Everything went smoothly as the three ladies were finally put back into the water after spending the winter and autumn on land.
The occasion was celebrated by a cheerful group, first on the quay by the Life-boats and then at the Headquarters, where delicious grilled burgers were served.
For now, they have taken a beautiful spot at the slipway in the North Harbour by Hyttefadsvej, where we hope many visitors will stop by to greet them and enjoy the stunning Life-boats artwork.
LIFEBOATS IN STRANDBY
The boats will be in Strandby from the end of July 2023 and throughout the winter.
JULY 14–16, 2023: THE BOATS MOVE TO STRANDBY
After a few years on the quay in Hals, the Life-boats are being moved to Strandby. They will stay there until, hopefully, they set sail in Norway in 2024.
PREPARING THE BOATS FOR SAILING
After spending a few years on land, there is a lot to do both inside, outside, and below deck on the boats. This work ensures they will be ready to sail to Strandby, where they will stay until next year.
ANNUAL GENERAL MEETING
On February 18, 2023, the annual general meeting of the Life-boats Support Association was held at Benthe’s workshop in Mygdal.
